Looking and listening this week

Looking and listening this week

It occurs to me that I have been looking at portraiture for so long that I lost sight of why.

The why was so that I was better prepared and perhaps it is time to put what I learned into practice. Great ideas are worth little if they go unrealised and that is the next barrier I must get through. So less looking and more doing.

I did pick up David duChemin’s new e-book Making the image this week to read on my commute (I did say less looking, not none  after all)

Listening to Mediaeval Baebes. I recall having to order Worldes Blysse on CD back in the mid 90’s. Hard to believe 20 years has come and gone but their music is timeless (and a lot easier to get hold of these days).
