So I mentioned ending up with a busted nose last week I got referred to a specialist who kindly offered to “fix” it under a local anesthetic. Given how painful it was in the first place I decided that unless there was a compelling medical reason or I chose to pursue a new career as a male model, the best things was to leave it as is.
It has impacted on taking pictures for the project though. I resorted to using an old right-angle viewfinder attachment to take some pictures rather than pressing my nose against the back of the camera. Problem is not knowing exactly what you are focused on until reviewing the images. I was using a 40mm macro lens, so limited depth of field made focus even more critical than normal.
Based on my self-determined scoring system these images count for 2 points. A humble start but a start none the less.
